Welcome to where I blog my thoughts on environmental and social sustainability. I am most interested, broadly, in biodiversity loss, climate change, and poverty and inequality. Specifically, I am interested in how sustainable agriculture and nature-based solutions stand to benefit nature and us. I am really interested in these kind of win-win solutions, and believe natural capital accounting would go a long way to this – internalising the current economic ‘externalities’.  Lastly, I am interested in how we fix our hollowed out democracy, and return power to people, future generations and nature. Yes, power to nature – specifically a legal system that would entrust guardians to represent the interests (survival and persistence) of species (see rights of nature).
